Professor Roger Schechter
Torts, Family Law
Roger Schechter is the William T. Fryer Research Professor of Law at George Washington University Law School, where he teaches Torts and Intellectual Property courses. He has been a visiting professor at the University of Virginia and NYU Law Schools, and an adjunct professor at Cardozo Law School.
He is a two-time winner of GW Law's Teaching Award and was awarded the Pattishal Medal, a national award for excellence in the teaching of trademark law.
Schechter has participated in several training programs for new law teachers and was featured in an Above the Law interview about his work for BARBRI. He is a graduate of GW and the Harvard Law School.
