BARBRI shortlisted for National Paralegal Awards
Global legal education provider, BARBRI, has today announced that it has been shortlisted for the National Paralegal Awards 2022 as a ‘Best Legal Profession Supplier’ finalist.
Returning for its fourth year, the National Paralegal Awards promote and celebrate the achievements of paralegals in the UK, whether they are employed, self-employed, a volunteer or otherwise. The awards also recognise organisations working to support paralegal professionals throughout their careers.
As such, BARBRI has been shortlisted in the Best Legal Profession Supplier category alongside Estatesearch Limited, Property Solutions Group and Sentry Funding. This is thanks to its carefully selected SQE-focused paralegal partnerships and its commitment to improved diversity across the profession through the introduction and development of the BARBRI Bridges funding initiative, pledging over £120,000 to the legal profession so far.
Speaking of the nomination, Lucie Allen, managing director for BARBRI said: “We’re very proud to be named as finalists for the 2022 National Paralegal Awards. It’s particularly fantastic to see our team recognised for the work that they are doing to help improve access to legal qualification.
“We know that many paralegals are reviewing their career options thanks to the introduction of the SQE, and 20% of our first SQE1 cohort defined themselves as paralegals. So, our team has been working hard behind the scenes to establish partnerships with trusted organisations to help ease this transition while delivering essential knowledge and financial support to these aspiring solicitors.”
The winner of this category will demonstrate a commitment to quality, innovation and excellence, exceeding client needs and aspirations by standing out against their competitors.
Allen continued: “We’re looking forward to attending the award ceremony this September, and we’d like to wish our fellow finalists the best of luck.”
Winners will be announced at the award ceremony set to take place on 22 September 2022 at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham. For more information, visit: https://nationalparalegalawards.com/
